This 128-page Teacher’s Book is designed to be used across Key Stage 3 and is organised into the following Level bands:
- Aiming for Levels 4 to 6
- Aiming for Levels 5 to 7
- Aiming for Levels 6 to 8
There are 45 creative and flexible lesson plans in total (15 at each Level band) which provide coverage of 7 key assessment focuses:
- Reading AFs 2, 3 and 5
- Writing AFs 2, 3 and 5
- Speaking & Listening AF2
- Plus further AFs as appropriate to each lesson
In addition, the Teacher’s Book also includes Overviews of each Level band for at-a-glance planning, Outcomes to check student progress, plus a detailed General Guidance section full of ideas for integrating ICT and applying active learning techniques.
A CD-ROM is included in the back of the Teacher’s Book. This provides:
- All lesson plans in an editable format
- Editable student worksheets
- Assessment sheets for each Outcome
- Mapping spreadsheets for the Programme of Study, Assessment focuses (APP) and GCSE Assessment objectives
This Teacher’s Book is designed to be used in conjunction with the Gothic Horror Student’s Book and the Gothic Horror Resource CD-ROM.

We cannot take payment online for overseas orders. This includes orders that will be sent via a UK shipper.

Approval Service for UK Schools
This item cannot be ordered on approval.
The Gothic Horror Approval Pack can be ordered ‘on approval’ by UK Schools. Each Approval Pack includes:
- A Gothic Horror Student’s Book
- A Gothic Horror Teacher’s Book
- Sample materials from the other components
Any items ordered 'on approval' will be invoiced when the goods are dispatched. However, the approval invoice only needs to be paid if you decide to keep the goods.
If a product is not suitable for your school, simply return the item to us in its original condition within 30 days of receipt. Please note schools are responsible for paying the return postage cost.
